Pharmacokinetics is the study of drugs in the organism.
It is often described using the acronym ADME to indicate the four key stages.

ADME stands for 'Absorption', during which the drug enters the organism, 'Distribution', where the product enters the organs of the organism, 'Metabolism', where drug is transformed into new chemical entities by the enzymes of the organism, and 'Excretion', where the product leaves the organism in urine and feces.

GMP (the Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic Group) is a group of scientists working in this domain and includes:
People from DMPK, Analytical Chemists, Biochemists, Mathematicians and Pharmacologists.

We think that the exchange of the different experiences encountered by each of us can enrich the competencies of all. Further to the plenary sessions, this exchange continues through working groups or round tables.

Therefore, do not hesitate to suggest a presentation on your area of expertise or job for a lecture in the plenary sessions, working groups or round tables !

Additionally, we would like the members of the GMP to be fully integrated in the program of each meeting and we hope that members of the GMP may be able to suggest some ideas and/or lectures.

We look forward to meeting you again.
